She pursued courses in elementary and high school to become a veterinarian, but upon attending a college fair she fell in love with the vet tech course. After graduating from high school with honours, she applied and was accepted to the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in King City and graduated in 2018. Shortly after, she completed her registry exam and became a fully licensed RVT. She moved around quite a bit, working in a variety of emergency, exotic and large animal hospitals but finally found her place here at Erin Mills. She currently resides in Waterloo with her boyfriend Colin and three cats: Batman, Talia and Kia.

Coco

Coco was a stray cat who found her way to Dr. Starink’s house. She was taken in by our clinic and nursed back to health, and now she is our clinic greeter! She spends her day at the front desk in her basket often covered up by her blanket. She loves people and will welcome any love and affection you are willing to give to her!

She is also very vocal and loves to talk with people! Make sure to pop by the front desk during your visit to see Ms. Coco and say hello!

Cupid

Cupid is a very sweet, calm boy. As a result, he is the resident “show clients how to do things with their cats” volunteer in the clinic! Cupid helps us with client demonstrations including everything from showing how to give cats fluids under the skin to brushing teeth! He has severe food allergies so he must be kept on special food and medications when needed to help to control his itching. He is a very happy boy and a very valuable part of the Erin Mills Pet Hospital team!

Dolores (aka DoDo)

Dolores was brought in to us as a stray cat in 2013. She was very fractious and very timid when she first came to us, so she was not suitable for adoption. Today she has really come into her own living at Erin Mills Pet Hospital and she is much more friendly! She is still quite timid especially around new people, but we love her very much!
