Erin Mills Pet Hospital in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a compassionate RVT to join our team! We are a privately owned practice that has provided exceptional medical care to our loyal clients for 50 years.

At Erin Mills Pet Hospital, technicians are valued for their contributions to our multi-doctor team and have the opportunity to utilize all their Veterinary Technician skills. We offer mentorship through our senior technicians, who have over 15 years of experience, and one of our part-time DVMs is a professor for a local RVT program.

• Full-time role: Up to 40 hour work week, including weekends
  Competitive pay: $23 – $33/hr. based on experience (plus a monthly production bonus)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all surgical procedures before the surgeon scrubs in, monitor, and support post-recovery
• Perform all dental cleaning/scaling
• Manage all treatments and diagnostics
• Work as Exam Room Assistants, leading appointments and educating clients about gold-standard diagnostics and treatments
• Utilize designated Technician Assistants to help with restraints, diagnostics, treatments, surgery flow, and more
• Conduct 30-minute assisted technician appointments

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience working in a veterinary setting
• RVT designation is an asset
• 1+ years of experience as a registered technician
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• A passion for learning and collaboration
